CEGA signs cooperation agreement with Mexico
Monday, 26 de SeptemberThe UNAM Geophysics Institute (Mexico) and CEGA initiated a program of scientific and academic cooperation to promote joint work on understanding volcanological phenomena related to geothermal energy. About the project, Diego Morata, CEGA Director states: “We want to have close connections with the international arena. In this context, links with experts in our region are essential to strengthen Latin America as a center of world-class research in the area. ”
The experience of UNAM Geophysics Institute in exploration applied to geothermal in conjunction with CEGA’s development on geology and geochemistry will be enhanced for the benefit of postgraduate training in geothermal and engineering, and the creation of research programs on issues of mutual interest.
