A CEGA study looked at the geological faults near Puyuhuapi to shed light on the geothermal reservoir in the area and the possibility of electricity cogeneration. Although this phenomenon could occur around the Liquiñe-Ofqui Fault, Nicolás Pérez, CEGA researcher and author of this paper, warned of the existing technical barriers.
