GEOTHERMAL DEVELOPMENT IN DIALOGUE WITH THE LANDSCAPE

Wednesday, 27 de May

There is a trend in architecture that states that it is possible to create spaces by manipulating impalpable aspects such as air, light or water vapor. The Altoandino Meteorological Park project works with this idea, proposing a space where elements such as water vapor or the ducts of a geothermal plant in the Chilean desert are used to generate visual, sensorial and esthetic experiences. Constanza Bianchini’s research delves into how to use geothermal infrastructure to harmoniously mesh industrial structures with their surrounding nature and boost tourism.
